OOTD: my new circle skirt!

Antes de nada, tengo que admitir que estoy actualizando de forma muy irregular últimamente. En parte se debe a que el otro día grabé un vídeo que aún no he podido exportar, y he estado centrada en eso.

Pero quiero volver a mi ritmo de 3 ó 4 post por semanas, espero conseguirlo :-)

Este conjunto lo llevé ayer, para pasar la tarde en la radio (recordad que colaboro en El punto de mira).

Tenía muchísimas ganas de estrenar mi nueva falda, que compré esta misma semana en H&M por solo ¡7,95€! Hacía tiempo que quería una circle skirt como las de American Apparel pero el precio era inaccesible para mí. Así que imaginad mi alegría cuando encontré esta falda a ese precio (y de temporada).

La combiné con un top de rayas naranja que compré el año pasado y que no he podido ponerme aún porque el tiempo no es muy agradable, aunque ayer hubo sol y una temperatura templada.

Before anything, I must admitir that I have been updating the blog very irregularly. It is in a way because I recorded a video the other day but I haven't been able to export it, and I have been dedicated to that.

However, I want to come back to my normal posting routine which is 3 or 4 posts per week :-)

This outfit I wore it yesterday, to spend the afternoon on the radio (remember that I participate on a radio show).

I was dying to wear my brand new skirt, which I bought earlier in the week in H&M for only 7,95€! I had wanted a circle skirt like the American Apparel ones for a long time, but the price was unacceptable to me. So you can imagine how happy I was when I found this skirt for that price (full season price).

I combined it with an orange striped top I bought last year and that I hadn't been able to wear yet because the weather is not hot. Luckily enough, yesterday the sun shone and the temperature was warm.

Si os preguntáis por qué llevo ese bolso (que no es el que más pega con el conjunto), es porque es el que siempre llevo a la radio. Puedo meter mi botella de agua, un paraguas y una chaqueta (por si acaso), las gafas, la cámara y los papeles que necesito de forma muy cómoda :-)

If you wonder why did I wear this bag (I know it doesn't match the rest of the outfit), it's because I always wear it to the radio. I can fit my bottle of water, an umbrella and a jacker (just in case), my eyeglasses, my camera and the papers that I need and I'm very comfortable :-)

Las colaboraciones entre diseñadores a veces dan como resultado imágenes tan curiosas como éstas.

Siendo Marc Jacobs un apasionado de la moda femenina, no es de extrañar que decidiera posar para la revista Industrie vestido de Prada.

Las instantáneas aparecieron en el número de primavera/verano 2011 bajo el título "Prada, I'm your biggest fan!" y el diseñador luce prendas de varias colecciones del 2011 y anteriores.

A mí, personalmente, me encantan. No hay nada como la actitud para lucir un buen look, y desde luego a Marc Jacobs le sobra.

Collaborations between designers sometimes give as a result pictures as curious as these ones.

Being Marc Jacobs a women's fashion lover, it is not surprise that he decided to wear Prada clothes for Industrie magazine.

The images appeared on the Spring/Summer 2011 issue under the title "Prada, I'm your biggest fan!" and the designer pulls off clothes from 2011 and previous year's collections.

I personally love them. There is nothing as attitude to rock a look, and Marc Jacobs definitely has a lot.

Como curiosidad, Marc Jacobs también lució un abrigo de Prada hace unas semanas. Aunque esta vez no era para una sesión de fotos, y coincidió con Anna Wintour en la elección de su estilismo.

As a curiosity, Marc Jacobs wore a Prada coat a few weeks ago too. But this time it wasn't because of a photoshoot, and he wore matching outfits with Anna Wintour.

Es un hecho que a Karl Lagerfeld le encanta rodar cortometrajes. Sin embargo, a veces tiene un buen motivo para ponerse detrás de la cámara.

Con motivo de los 100 años de existencia de la casa Chanel, el káiser ha creado un film que se centra en la primera tienda que abrió Gabrielle Chanel en 1910 en París. Esta primera tienda se llamó "Chanel modes" y en ella vendía sombreros. Curiosamente, el desfile de primavera/verano 2013 de Chanel llamó la atención por sus enormes sombreros de plástico, probablemente en un guiño a los inicios de la maison.

Chanel celebrates 100 years of existence. For that reason, the kaiser has created a film which focuses on the first store that Gabrielle Chanel opened in Paris in 1910. This first store was named "Chanel modes" and in there, Gabrielle used to sell hats. As a curiosity, Chanel's spring/summer 2013 fashion show was very commented because of the huge plastic hats. Maybe it was a reference to the beginning of the brand.

Pero Karl Lagerfeld no solo ha contado con una gran actriz en el reparto; también ha incluido a algunos de sus protegidos. Por ejemplo, Jean Baptiste Giabiconi (con quien supuestamente mantiene una relación sentimental) y la top model Lindsey Wixson también tienen un papel en el vídeo.

But Karl Lagerfeld did not just count on a great actress. He also included some of his personal favourites like Jean Baptiste Giabiconi (his sentimental partner as some people say) and top model Lindsey Wixson.

OOTD: bare legs!

Este es el primer conjunto del año en el que llevo las piernas al aire, lo que significa que ¡por fin ha llegado la primavera! Y para celebrarlo, llevé este vestido floral. En realidad es una camisa de la talla 40, pero ser bajita me permite llevar camisetas grandes a modo de vestido :-) Eso sí, como es un poco corto y aún no me siento muy cómoda sin medias, decidí llevar un cardigan largo por encima, que me cubría por detrás por si acaso ;-)

También llevo el bolso que me trajo mi amigo Xinghua de China. Es una imitación del modelo "rocco" de Alexander Wang, y desde que lo tengo me lo pongo cada vez que puedo (ya lo visteis en mi anterior outfit). 

This is the first outfit in the year in which I wear bare legs, which means that Spring is finally here! To celebrate it, I wore this floral dress. It is actually a shirt of the size 12 (UK)/10 (US), but since I am very short I can wear big shirts as a dress :-) However, as it is a little bit short and I'm not used to not wearing tights yet, I decided to put on a long cardigan over it, because it covered my back, just in case ;-)

I'm also wearing the bag that my friend Xinghua brought me from China. It is a dupe of Alexander Wang's "rocco" bag, and I wear everytime I have the opportunity (you've already seen it in my last outfit post).
